We have been running open mats for 6+ years as we know how important it is for the womens BJJ community to have the opportunity to come together and train with other ladies.

We will be running this open mat a bit differently though. It will still have our usual chilled and positive vibe, with snacks (of course!) and laughs, but we will also be raising money for a pre and postnatal depression (PND) chairty, PANDAS.

Many women, including myself, have suffered with postnatal depression. It can have devasting effects on the women going through it - along with their families - and we want to do what ever we can to show our support and help raise awareness of the struggles of Perinatal Mental Health.

We are lucky to have Progress Jiu Jitsu sponsoring the open mat - they've been absolute legends as always and have donated some prizes for our raffle.

The event is free to attend and we will be accepting donations on the day. All proceeds from this event will be going directly to the charity.
